Terms of use

Last updated October 24, 2026

By using Public APIs you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

The directory

The API listings come from the community-maintained public-apis project (MIT licensed) and from information published on each API's own website. We try to keep it accurate but can't guarantee that an API is available, free, secure or fit for your purpose. Each API is provided by its own owner under their own terms; check them before you use it.

Reviews

Reviews must be honest, based on your own experience, and free of spam, abuse, personal data about others or content you don't have the right to post. We moderate reviews and may decline, edit for formatting, or remove them. By submitting a review you let us publish and display it on the site.

JSON API and acceptable use

You may use the site and its JSON API for personal and commercial projects. Don't overload or attack the service, scrape it in ways that degrade it for others, or try to access the content dashboard without permission. We may rate-limit or block abusive traffic.

Links and third parties

The site links to third-party websites, including APILayer products. We aren't responsible for their content or practices.

No warranty and liability

The site is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for losses arising from your use of the site or of any listed API.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. Questions: APILayer. See also our privacy & cookie policy.
